Yellow roses paperweightJan 10, 2011
By K. Balsamo This was a gift to my gf in California in honor of her retirement from Macy's as a Clinque representative of 33 years. She loved the gift. It was selected because we met in California as 'Sisters of Beta Sigma Phi' a USA-wide and World-wide organization of women that dates back to the 1930's. The yellow rose is a symbol of our organization. So this paperweight, though small, has a strong symbolic symbol and I know she will always cherish it.
Now, you may not have these particular connections but the point of a gift is to give the receipant a cherished item. I would strong endorse this item to your mother, grandmother, daughter, daughter-in-law or dearest friend.
